AI Engineer / Forward Deployment Engineer

This is a full-stack / backend-heavy engineering role, with strong Python development skills being essential
6+ years of software engineering experience, with deep backend or full-stack expertise
Strong hands-on Python development skills required
Experience building production applications using:
Python
FastAPI
APIs / microservices
Docker
Kubernetes
AWS cloud environments
Kafka or other event-driven/streaming platforms
4+ years deploying AI/ML solutions in production
Experience integrating LLMs, generative AI, or agentic AI systems into applications
Proven ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and deliver scalable solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or technical consulting environment
Background in travel, hospitality, or cruise
Experience supporting distributed, offline, or shipboard environments
Cloud, Kubernetes, or AI/ML certifications
